Nephushesim

Nephushesim is listed among the families of the Nethinim — temple servants — who returned from Babylonian exile. UPDV records them in the census of returnees: "The sons of Besai, the sons of Meunim, the sons of Nephushesim" (Ne 7:52). The name in older versions appears as "Nephishesim" (Kethib) or "Nephushesim" (Qere); UPDV follows the Qere. This is the only occurrence of the name in UPDV.
