Nogah

Nogah is one of the sons born to David in Jerusalem. The name appears only in the two Chronicles lists of David's children, in both cases sandwiched between Nepheg and Japhia.

A Son Born in Jerusalem

The first roster, set out as a formal genealogy of "the sons of David" born after the move to Jerusalem, places him near the middle of the list: "and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia" (1Ch 3:7).

The parallel notice introducing "the children whom he had in Jerusalem" repeats the same triad in the same order: "and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia" (1Ch 14:6). Beyond the bare naming, no act or story is attached to him.
