Ohad

Ohad is one of the sons of Simeon. The name appears only twice — once in the Genesis roster of those who came down with Jacob into Egypt, and once in the Exodus genealogy that traces the families through Reuben, Simeon, and Levi.

A Son of Simeon

Genesis lists six Simeonites in birth-order: "And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman" (Gen 46:10).

The Exodus parallel repeats the same six names in the same order, framing them as clan-heads: "And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman; these are the families of Simeon" (Ex 6:15). Beyond these two listings, no act or descendant is recorded under his name.
