Palti

Palti is the Benjamite representative on the roster of twelve spies Moses dispatched to scout the land of Canaan.

Benjamite spy

The roster names him by tribe and father: "Of the tribe of Benjamin, Palti the son of Raphu" (Numbers 13:9). He stands among the twelve men chosen one from each tribe, but the narrative reports nothing else about him as an individual.
