Parvaim
Parvaim appears once in scripture, named as the source of the gold used to adorn Solomon's temple. Its geographical location is otherwise unidentified in the text.
Gold of Parvaim
In the account of the temple's interior decoration, fine materials are gathered from many places. The chronicler notes the origin of the gilding stock: "And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim" (2Ch 3:6). Parvaim is mentioned only here, and the text supplies no further description of the region beyond its association with this premium gold.
