Pedahel

Pedahel is named once in scripture, identified as the tribal prince representing Naphtali in the apportionment of Canaan.

Chief of Naphtali

In the list of leaders appointed to oversee the division of the land among the tribes, Naphtali's representative is named with his patronymic: "And of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud" (Nu 34:28). Pedahel stands in the roster of tribal heads charged with this distribution, and the text supplies no further narrative beyond the appointment.
