Pelet
The name Pelet attaches to two minor figures in the Chronicler's lists, both preserved in genealogical or muster contexts that name him only in passing.
Son of Jahdai
The first appears in Caleb's extended descent. Among the sons of Jahdai, the list reads "Regem, and Jothan, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph" (1Ch 2:47). The notice gives nothing beyond the name and its place in the family register.
Son of Azmaveth, warrior at Ziklag
The second Pelet stands in the muster of fighting men who came over to David while he was still under Saul's pressure at Ziklag. He is paired with a brother under their father's name: "The chief was Ahiezer; then Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite, and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth, and Beracah, and Jehu the Anathothite" (1Ch 12:3). He is counted among the Benjamite kinsmen of Saul who nevertheless sided with David.
