Peullethai

Peullethai was the eighth son of Obed-edom, a gatekeeper appointed to serve in the house of God. UPDV records him in the list of Obed-edom's sons assigned to temple gatekeeping duties: "Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth; for God blessed him" (1 Chr 26:5). The note that God blessed Obed-edom reflects the earlier account of the ark's stay in his household. Peullethai appears only at this point in UPDV.
