Pildash
Pildash is a son of Nahor, Abraham's brother, named once in the genealogical notice that closes the Akedah chapter.
Son of Nahor by Milcah
The notice is set after the binding of Isaac and frames the family on Abraham's side: "And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Look, Milcah, she also has borne sons to your brother Nahor" (Gen 22:20). The list of the eight sons born to Milcah follows: "Uz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram. And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel" (Gen 22:21-22). Pildash is the seventh of the eight, listed between Hazo and Jidlaph. The summary makes the count explicit: "These eight did Milcah bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother" (Gen 22:23). Beyond the name and the place in the list, nothing further is said of him.
