Pishon

Pishon is the name UPDV gives to the first of the four rivers flowing out of Eden. The creation account describes it: "The name of the first is Pishon: that is it which circles the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; and the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone" (Gen 2:11-12). The Pishon encircles Havilah and appears only in the Genesis 2 geography of Eden in UPDV. Older versions spell the name "Pison."
