Quartus
Quartus is a Christian man in Corinth whose greeting is forwarded to the Roman believers at the close of Paul's letter. He appears only once in scripture, identified simply as a brother in the faith.
The Greeting from Corinth
Quartus is named in the cluster of personal greetings sent from Paul's company in Corinth: "Gaius my host, and of the whole church, greets you⁺. Erastus the treasurer of the city greets you⁺, and Quartus the brother" (Rom 16:23). His designation as "the brother" sets him alongside Paul's host Gaius and the city treasurer Erastus, all three sending personal greetings to the church at Rome.
