Ezra 10:25 places him at the head of the sons of Parosh in the register: "And of Israel: Of the sons of Parosh: Ramiah, and Izziah, and Malchijah, and Mijamin, and Eleazar, and Malchijah, and Benaiah." The list belongs to the broader catalog of those who had married foreign women and were brought into the reform under Ezra.
