Rephah

Rephah appears once, in the Ephraimite genealogy of 1 Chronicles 7, as one link in the descent that runs from Ephraim down to Joshua son of Nun.

In the Line of Ephraim

The Chronicler traces the line and inserts Rephah between Sheerah and Resheph: "And Rephah was his son, and Resheph and Telah his son, and Tahan his son" (1Ch 7:25). The same chain continues — "Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son, Nun his son, Joshua his son" (1Ch 7:26-27) — placing Rephah's name in the ancestry that ends with Joshua.
