Rimmon-parez
Rimmon-parez is a wilderness encampment of Israel between the exodus and the entry into Canaan. UPDV spells the name Rimmon-perez. The place is mentioned only in the itinerary list of Numbers 33 — once on arrival and once on departure — with no event recorded there.
A Stop in the Wilderness Itinerary
The itinerary moves through the place in two adjacent verses: "And they journeyed from Rithmah, and encamped in Rimmon-perez. And they journeyed from Rimmon-perez, and encamped in Libnah" (Num 33:19-20). The location is fixed in sequence between Rithmah on the previous leg and Libnah on the next. Nothing else — no incident, no action, no message — is recorded at the site. The single function of the entry is to mark the position in Israel's wilderness journey.
