Rimmonah

Rimmonah is a Levitical city assigned to the sons of Merari from the territory of Zebulun. Joshua 21:35 records it among a group of four Zebulunite cities: "Rimmonah with its suburbs, Nahalal with its suburbs; four cities." The parallel passage at 1 Chronicles 6:77 also names Rimmonah: "out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmonah with its suburbs, Tabor with its suburbs."

UPDV spells the city "Rimmonah," reflecting a reading that distinguishes it from Rimmon, a separate place in other tribal lists.
