Seirah
Seirah is the place to which the judge Ehud fled after assassinating Eglon king of Moab. UPDV records: "Ehud escaped while they tarried, and passed beyond the quarries, and escaped to Seirah" (Jdg 3:26). From there Ehud rallied the Israelites and led them against the Moabites. Seirah appears only in this passage in UPDV; its precise location is unidentified. Older versions spell the name "Seirath."
