Senaah
Senaah is a place named in the two parallel registers of those who returned from exile. The location itself is not described; both registers identify Senaah only by the count of its sons in the returning company.
In the Return Lists
The Ezra register gives the count: "The sons of Senaah, three thousand and six hundred and thirty" (Ezr 2:35).
The parallel notice in Nehemiah preserves the same heading with a slightly higher figure: "The sons of Senaah, three thousand nine hundred and thirty" (Ne 7:38).
The two lists agree on the name and its place in the roster but record different totals — 3,630 in Ezra and 3,930 in Nehemiah — leaving Senaah identifiable only as a sizable contingent among those returning from the captivity.
