Sentry

A sentry is the watchman posted on city walls, towers, and at the temple gates to keep guard over the city through the night and to sound the trumpet at the approach of danger. The role appears in the watchmen of Jerusalem and Babylon and is governed by the rule that unfaithfulness in the duty is punished by death.
