Sethur

Sethur is named once in the text, in the roster of the twelve men sent from the wilderness to scout the land of Canaan. He represents Asher.

Asher's Spy

In the list of the tribal representatives, the entry for Asher is brief: "Of the tribe of Asher, Sethur the son of Michael" (Nu 13:13). His tribe, his father, and his role in the company of spies are the whole record; nothing else attaches to the name in the text.
