Shamma

Shamma is named once, in the Asherite genealogy of 1 Chronicles, as one of the sons of Zophah.

Son of Zophah, an Asherite

The list of Zophah's sons sets Shamma in the middle of a six-name string: "Bezer, and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilshah, and Ithran, and Beera" (1Ch 7:37). The wider chapter places this branch within the descendants of Asher; the verse itself gives no further notice of him beyond his place in the order.
