The Chronicler's roll of Benjamin's families lists him in a brief sequence: "and Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah" (1 Chr 8:26). The name appears once, embedded in a string of brothers belonging to the household of Jeroham within the tribe of Benjamin, with no further narrative attached.
