Sheth is the older transliteration used in older topical sources for the third son of Adam and Eve; UPDV spells him Seth. (The older secondary sense at Numbers 24:17 is a translation gloss — UPDV reads "sons of tumult" as a common noun, not a proper name.) See Seth.
