Singers

Singers are the trained vocalists who lead worship in Israel's tabernacle and temple liturgy, often paired with instrumentalists under a chief musician or precentor and active during the offering of sacrifices. The same vocation extends through the post-exilic restoration and into the visionary worship of heaven.
