Stealing

Stealing is the wrongful taking of what belongs to another, prohibited by the Decalogue and grouped throughout scripture with dishonesty, covetousness, and the other social offenses that violate love of neighbor. Narrative instances and prophetic indictments alike treat it as a sin to be repented of, restored from, and replaced by honest labor.
