Stubbornness

Stubbornness in scripture is the persistent refusal to yield — to God's word, to lawful authority, or to evident correction — surfacing in covenant indictments of Israel, in the named instances of generations and kings whose hearts hardened against the Lord, and in wisdom warnings against those who reject reproof.
