Subjects

Subjects in scripture are those living under civil or royal authority, considered through the duties of citizenship, the structure of government, the love of one's country and people, and the office of the rulers set over them. Loyalty and seditiousness, faithful service and treason are weighed throughout the historical books and the apostolic letters on submission to those in authority.
