Taanath-shiloh
Taanath-shiloh is a town named once in scripture, fixed as a border-marker in the territory allotted to the tribe of Ephraim.
A Marker on the Ephraimite Border
The boundary description traces the line east from the coast and inland: "and the border went out westward at Michmethath on the north; and the border turned about eastward to Taanath-shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah" (Jos 16:6). Taanath-shiloh stands as one fixed waypoint among the named places — Michmethath, Janoah, and the rest — by which the Ephraimite allotment is staked out.
