Tarah
Tarah is a camping place along Israel's wilderness itinerary in Numbers 33. The UPDV renders the place name "Terah."
A Camping Place of the Israelites
The wilderness register names two consecutive stages: "And they journeyed from Tahath, and encamped in Terah. And they journeyed from Terah, and encamped in Mithkah" (Nu 33:27-28). The site appears only as a way-station — Israel arrives, then departs — within the longer chain of encampments listed for the journey.
