Teaching

Teaching is the deliberate transmission of Yahweh's commandments, wisdom, and redemptive history from one generation to the next, carried out through parents, priests, prophets, sages, and apostles by spoken word, parable, object lesson, and written record. As a duty of those set apart for ministry, teaching combines doctrinal content, pastoral correction, and the shaping of conduct in the hearer.
