Tharshish
Tharshish is the older transliteration used in older topical sources for the Benjamite Tarshish, son of Bilhan, listed in the Benjamite genealogy at 1Ch 7:10. He is a different person from Tarshish the seafaring port of the Mediterranean — see Tarshish for the place.
The UPDV reads: "And the sons of Jediael: Bilhan. And the sons of Bilhan: Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahar" (1Ch 7:10). The name appears only here, embedded in the Chronicler's roster of Benjamin's clans through Jediael and Bilhan; no narrative is attached to him.
