Tiras
Tiras appears only in genealogy. He is named twice — at the end of the seven sons of Japheth — and the two passages reproduce the same list word for word.
The seventh son of Japheth
The first occurrence sits in the table of nations: "The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras" (Gen 10:2).
The Chronicler later repeats the list with no variation: "The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras" (1 Chr 1:5).
What the umbrella holds
Tiras has a position — last in the line of seven Japhethite sons — and nothing else. No descendants, territory, or narrative is attached to the name in scripture. Whatever group of peoples the name is meant to designate is signaled only by his placement at the end of the genealogy.
