Trust

Trust is the settled reliance on Yahweh — and on Christ in the New Testament — that scripture treats as the substance of faith, exemplified in the long line of figures from Noah and Abraham through David, Daniel, and the three Hebrews, and through Peter, the woman with the issue of blood, the Ethiopian eunuch, and the wider company of believers.
