Banquet
A banquet is a formal social meal hosted for guests, often marking covenants, weddings, royal celebrations, birthdays, and national deliverances. Scripture covers ancient banquet customs — guests reclining at table, a presiding master, music, wine, ranked seating — as well as the figurative use of the great feast for divine fellowship and the kingdom of God.
