Creed
In the older topical-index sense, "creed" gathers the various forms of fixed teaching, binding rule, and received body of belief that the scriptures address — divine decrees, the law given through Moses, the inherited traditions handed down by the elders, and the institutional teachings critiqued where they stood opposed to the word of God.
