Sharai
Sharai appears once in the UPDV, named in Ezra's list of post-exilic men who had married foreign wives and were required to put them away.
A Returnee Who Put Away a Foreign Wife
The closing roster of Ezra 10 itemizes the men who, in response to Ezra's reform, separated themselves from the wives they had taken from the surrounding peoples. Among the sons of Bani, the list reads, "Machnadebai, Shashai, Sharai," (Ezr 10:40). Sharai stands beside Machnadebai and Shashai in the same line; nothing else about him is recorded.
