Shashai
Shashai appears once in the UPDV, named in Ezra's list of post-exilic men descended from Bani who had married foreign wives and were required to put them away.
A Returnee Who Put Away a Foreign Wife
The closing roster of Ezra 10 names the men who responded to the call to separate themselves from the wives they had taken from the surrounding peoples. Among the sons of Bani, the list reads, "Machnadebai, Shashai, Sharai," (Ezr 10:40). Shashai stands between Machnadebai and Sharai in the same verse; nothing else about him is recorded.
